A parameter might not get parsed in an external link under the following conditions:

• A SAS^® Visual Analytics Report is open in SAS Visual Analytics Viewer.
• An external link contains a source parameter in a SAS Visual Analytics object.

This issue does not occur in SAS^® Visual Analytics Designer.

For example, you encounter this issue when you complete steps similar to the following:

1. You include the Country source parameter in an external URL.
2. You click the object, and the URL sends you to this page in SAS Visual Analytics Designer:

In Visual Analytics Viewer, it might incorrectly send you to this page:

In this case, ${pk531} is the parameter key, which can be found in the SAS Visual Analytics Report XML.
